Citroen

We've just finished working with London based Mad Cow and Brazilian production company Your Mama and Havas Paris on this energetic little number for Citroen.

The spot centres around a city/off road hybrid car, the Aircross, belting around city and countryside locations that seamlessly transform between each other. In order to achieve this effect, a rather large Russian arm was mounted via a 360 degree zero rig to the roof of the car. As the car drove along, the camera was able to swing around the car, a full 360 degrees.

The only slight issue with this approach was that the whole rig had to be removed and the roof replaced with a CG version. In addition to this, the various locations had to be stitched together, with some backgrounds requiring full CG replacement.

EP Chris Allen said "This was quite ambitious project given the schedule we had but once again, we were able to capitalise on using both our London and Istanbul studios to share the workload. This project proves again the scale of work we can take on here at CCVFX. It was a pleasure to be involved with Mad Cow & Havas once again".
