As part of Nike Football’s #sparkbilliance campaign, CherryCherry recently completed the work for their spot for Pro Genius, a series of tools and techniques designed to help young football players develop the mental side of their game.
Directed by Steve Jamison at Archer’s Mark for AKQA, the spot features Bayern Munich and Polish International Robert Lewandowski visualising his performance for his next match. We see him imagining the pitch conditions, the stadium, the crowds and his opponents before he sees himself scoring. Our work included creating CG crowds and stadiums, CG players and motion graphics.
CherryCherry’s CG supervisor Tony Landais writes “This was a great project for us. Although we’d done crowds and stadiums in the past, this film gave us the opportunity to use a different pipeline we've been developing which is lighter and faster than using other platforms such as Massive. We were really pleased with the end result".
CherryCherry’s EP says of the spot “We’ve been producing some pretty great work lately and this is another spot we can proudly add to our portfolio. Any time a young company such as ours gets to work on a brand like Nike, I think it speaks volumes about how we are perceived. We’ve had an exciting first 6 months to this year, working on some very creative projects with a lot of new clients who continue to walk away happy”.
